The National Bird-Feeding Society (NBFS) celebrates its 24th anniversary this year as well as important features and services presented on its www.birdfeeding.org and www.facebook.com/birdfeedingsociety websites. These sites serve as key resources for the bird-feeding and watching public, especially information about wild bird food and bird feeder preferences.
Established in 1989, the NBFS helps make the backyard bird feeding and watching hobby better - for people and wild birds by connecting hobbyists with education and research about backyard bird feeding. Information can be accessed by the general public at www.birdfeeding.org but the most up-to-date information is available on www.facebook.com/birdfeedingsociety. Membership in NBFS and participation in National Bird-Feeding Month each February is free as continuing services to the public.
The Wild Bird Centers of America (www.wildbird.com and www.facebook.com/wildbirdcenters) is proud to serve as exclusive sponsor of the NBFS and National Bird-Feeding Month. The Wild Bird Centers of America is a national franchise system supporting wild bird specialty stores and dealerships throughout the United States and Canada.
