The Wild Bird Centers of America is proud to announce that the Wild Bird Center of Prairie Village, Kansas hosts it annual trip to Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City on Saturday, the 24th. Franchisee and store owner, Kitty McKelvey organized the event in support of her customers and community. The group plans to see Bald Eagles, Snow geese and other birds wintering over at the Refuge.
Attendees are invited to carpool from the store to Squaw Creek. Please dress for the weather, bring a bag lunch and plenty of water. The visit takes place on a “driving loop” with several exciting stops so the event is not strenuous.
